Due to the DDME advisory notice, and the approaching tropical storm, we are closing our stores early today and will be reopening tomorrow at 10am unless advised otherwise.

With over 14 years at Graceway, it is with great sadness that we say farewell to our beloved Miss Mev, who will be retiring and moving back to the US. Meverly joined the Graceway team in August 2006 and quickly turned her customers and colleagues into lifelong friends and family. During her time with us, she has dedicated herself wholeheartedly to every co-worker and customer she has met - her favorite customers, of course, are the children who she has never failed to make smile with cookies and doughnuts.
One of the hardest workers with the biggest heart. Miss Mev has been through three hurricanes on Provo and has volunteered countless times to cook thousands of meals to feed the community. She traveled to Grand Turk to volunteer after the hurricane and even slept on the floor of the IGA deli while bread was baking in the middle of the night. The impact Miss Mev has left is everlasting. She will be dearly missed by all her co-workers and customers and we thank her sincerely for her hard work and dedication at Graceway. We wish her the very best on her retirement!

Today we have received confirmation from the Ministry of Health that an employee from Graceway IGA has tested positive for COVID-19. We have asked the individual to self-isolate for the recommended period as advised by the Ministry of Health.
We have worked with the Ministry of Health to complete contact tracing and Graceway employees who worked closely with the individual in the last seven days have been advised to self-isolate as per the Ministry of Health guidelines.
In addition to our existing heightened sanitation measures across all stores, an assessment was completed of the employee’s work-area at the IGA store and we performed an immediate disinfection of the area.
Professional Electrostatic Deep Clean
As part of our safety protocols, we will be taking further steps this evening and employing a third-party professional electrostatic disinfection service across the entire IGA building, shop floor, warehouse and offices to ensure the continued safety of our customers and employees.
Working hard to maintain a safe environment for all
Graceway continues to work hard to maintain the best cleaning and safety standards for our customers and employees. We strictly adhere to the Ministry of Health Covid-19 guidelines to maintain public health.
We remain very confident that our health and safety protocols make our stores and the products we sell safe for all on Providenciales.
As a member of the Graceway family, the affected employee will be taken care of during the self-quarantine period and upon their return to work in line with our company values and policies.
Following our initial rapid response and preparedness protocols, an investigation was carried out today by the Ministry of Health. We can confirm the IGA store will be closed tonight from 6pm and will reopen at noon tomorrow (Tuesday 14th, July 2020) to complete a full store deep clean.
We will meet the challenges ahead and do what is best for our customers and employees. As always we will keep you informed on any future changes.
