Graceway Communities: Earth Day 2020 Staying Blue Contest!

Graceway Communities invites all young students to participate in our earth day 2020 essay competition to raise awareness on climate action for a sustainable future in the Turks and Caicos Islands!

To participate: Please ask your school about registration and students must write and submit an essay on the topic:

WHAT DOES STAYING BLUE MEAN TO YOU?

~ Categories~
Primary School: Ages 8-11 years – MAXIMUM 250 words

High School: Ages 12-15 years – MAXIMUM 500 words

~ Prizes for each category ~

1st Place: iPAD AIR

2nd Place: iPad

3rd Place: iPad Mini

The schools with the 1st place winners will receive a Desktop Computer, a Printer
and $500 shopping spree at Graceway Supermarkets.

Entry Deadline: 3rd April 2020.

•  The North and Middle Caicos Senior Citizens Transportation Service accepted by Captain Miller on behalf of The Salvation Army.

•  The Turks and Caicos Reef Fund for Fighting Stony Coral Disease accepted by Don Stark.

•  The Grand Turk Beautification Project accepted by Tommy Skippings.

Great News! You’ve voted 100,000 times since August with Staying Blue tokens at Graceway Supermarkets. As promised, Graceway Communities will donate $10,000 to your chosen charities.

Here is the final breakdown:

  • The Grand Turk Beautification Project - $2,329.36

  • The North and Middle Caicos Senior Citizens Transportation Service - $3,673.04

  • The Turks and Caicos Reef Fund for Fighting Stony Coral Disease - $3,997.60

Keep an eye out for the three newly selected local charities for the next round and Graceway Communities will continue to donate 10¢ for each Staying Blue token to your chosen charities up to 100,000 tokens.
