General Requirements

  • Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
  • Ability to work in low temperatures (as required).
  • Ability to work on weekends and Holidays.
  • Physical mobility and ability to operate work equipment.
  • Some jobs require prior work experience.

Basic Educational Requirements

  • High School Graduate.
  • Good Mathematical Skills.
  • Good Command of English Language both oral and written.
  • Basic knowledge of computers.

Grocery Picker (Food Services)

Job Summary: Pick and pack customer orders, load orders ready for dispatch and assist with general stocker’s duties.

Meat Cutter/Butcher

Job Summary: Cut meats and prepare related products in the variety, size, trim and quality as prescribed by the Department’s standards.

Cleaners/Dishwashers

Job Summary: Maintain high standards of cleanness throughout the Supermarket by performing various cleaning duties.

Warehouse Clerk

Job Summary: Assist with a variety of warehouse duties, including shipping, receiving, loading and off-loading trucks and containers. Operates a fork-lift, stocks and keeps department area clean and safe.

Stocker (Grocery/GM/HBC)

Job Summary: Stock shelves, sort and rotate merchandise; Monitor expiration dates and remove expired items from shelves and storage areas.

Cashier

Job Summary: Performs a variety of functions including greeting and receiving customers, bagging groceries, cleaning register and belts throughout shift. Provide excellent customer service by greeting and thanking them for their business and promptly responds to their needs and questions. Efficiently operate the register system and cash handling procedures and duties associated with it. Process sales accurately and efficiently, by Cash, Check, Credit Cards, Vouchers, Gift Cards or Automatic Debits while safeguarding company assets.

Cake Decorator

Job Summary: Decorating cakes and pastries with designs. Fill customer orders, price and package products for displays. Train other associates and maintain a clean work area.

Drivers

Job Summary: Drive trucks and trailer rigs for the purpose of transporting food items and products to designated locations. Assist with loading and off-loading products, while ensuring that all products are kept in good condition and are secured at all times.

Meat Wrapper

Job Summary: Wrap, weigh, pack, and price–mark meat and related products by the Department’s standards. Perform maintenance and cleanup duties in the Meat Department according to operating procedures.

Frozen/Dairy Clerk

Job Summary: Stock shelves, sort and rotate merchandise. Monitor expiration dates by removing expired items from shelves and refrigerated storage areas.

Produce Clerk

Job Summary: Process, cut, pack, stock and trim produce products; clean work areas according to the Department’s standards.

Fruit Cutter

Job Summary: Cut, trim, wrap, and pack a variety of fruits, vegetables and nuts while assisting in maintaining a clean work area.

Van Loader (Food Services)

Job Summary: Load and off-load products onto Company’s vehicles and prepare for delivery to various wholesale customer locations. Ensure that all products are kept in good condition and are secured at all times.

Tagger/Scanner

Job Summary: Performs primary responsibility of efficient and accurate pricing, tagging and signage of all products.

Deli Cook

Job Summary: Prepare healthy and tasty dishes according to company standards while ensuring that Department sales goals and objectives are met. Ensure that all work areas are kept in a clean and sanitary condition, meeting all health and safety code requirements.

Deli/Bakery Clerk

Job Summary: Assist and process customer orders in an efficient and accurate manner. Prepare, wrap, box and display deli products and ensure that all work areas are kept in a clean and sanitary condition, meeting all health and safety code requirements.

Baker

Job Summary: Prepare baked goods in large ovens; operate and clean mixers, scales, and other equipment. Train associates; while assisting in maintaining a clean work area according to store and department standards.
